As a MOTU Digital Performer user two things are obvious, I run the Digital Performer DAW and I run it on a Mac. Of course when I was notified by Apple that I could download the Lion update right now, I wanted it right then. The first thing I do? Go to the MOTU web site to see if there are any issues (I learned that from ProTools hell upgrading to Snow Leopard). MOTU being the responsible company that is it had this waiting for me:

Resurrecting my Sony MDR-7506 headphones with new ear pads. I don’t have a photo of their condition before removal, but they were shot … All the vinyl was missing and we were down to exposed cloth-like stuff … Once I removed the old pads, here’s what the headphones looked like.
All the parts have been ordered and are on their way … a Pearl Export 10×8″ tom … dual 10″ mesh heads … a 6.5″ sub-woofer, foam, XLR, etc … Just a few more parts to get and then assembly will begin … Can’t wait to try it out … My main concern is the padding … Some seemed to have needed it while others don’t mention it at all …
